::HOLO RECORDING BEGIN::
The Sith, I mean... I get it. Embrace your hatred and destroy all enemies and weak links. It’s a good way get your job done. They just always seemed...... Beneath me. The academy was no problem, Hatred, no mercy… check! Check! But I never really… felt it. You know? They seemed so boring.
I’m not claiming I’m the best fighter, not one of those assholes. I just… I’m better than them, I require more than the usual conquest to keep me entertained.
Oh where are my manners…. It's Mircuri Blaac… of course, as I’d hope you would be able to figure out by now… but in case the audio quality is bad enough that you couldn't make my voice out.
I promised to tell you everything, it does seem odd to do it now… but… a promise is a promise…
Anyway… -clears throat- … my records show that I was sent to Korriban to be raised as a sith at the age of four. I, of course, don’t remember that and they never kept track of who my parents were but why would they? Pricks either died or donated me so why bother thinking about it.
The academy, it was easy for me… boring… I didn’t make waves, they weren’t worth it. Yes, my master, of course, my master, I live to serve, my master… I gave them what they wanted to hear until I got my chance to get out of there. I knew there was more to the empire than the sith. Other groups…
Jormungandr… we all knew about them. But they didn’t take outsiders. They weren’t even on my list.
I went for the easiest position I could, patrolling certain locations for any interesting republic activity. It was a perfect job while I focused on earning my place in a real group.
I had a little adventure around that time… but I'd rather not bring it up…
-Clears his throat- I tried to prove myself to a few other respective groups but they didn’t want a sith fresh out of the academy. Not very encouraging right? But then it happened... Jormungandr went through some change... some big turn over… I still don’t know what happened but they needed help restoring order to the ranks.
I wasn’t prepared to go make an ass of myself to a group THAT far out of my league… you can only imagine the type they must have been looking for. But… then… I don’t know… My master found me. I guess I was making noise in my search for a group worthy of my dedication. I thought I was killing my reputation this while time but it paid off!
My master found me… I swore my allegiance on the spot. And for the first time… I meant it.
You understand at this point my details end, I would never blow my chances by giving out information, even if its to no one.
-Silence-
I guess that's it... I’m… -silence- ….I’m so sorry again for what happened to you. I’ll write to you again soon… I mean… a promise is a promise. I’m happy you made it to your brother, he’ll keep you safe now, I love you E.

I kind of hoped I could leave this part out… but I feel like I’m skipping the most important thing… and I promised to tell you everything about me, so here goes…
-Silence-
So I’m at this cantina… back at my assigned location. I had just gotten my ass handed to me by the leader of The World Enders… you know… their kind way of saying “we don’t want you to join us”.
I’m sitting at the bar, cooling my head on an ice rag, I’m pissed off, praying some prick will comment on a bruise so I could take his life to make my night a little better… But no GUY did... instead this girl comes up… green hair. She takes the rag right from my hand and releases the ice into her drink, then just looks at me… like she was calling me out or something.
I gotta be honest, I was more shocked than mad… I just stared… I couldn't speak… what just happened… was beautiful… -Silence-
I glared for a moment, part of me said kill her for embarrassing me, the other part wanted to marry her. I settled for a middle ground and asked her what her name was. She told me. The hair suddenly made sense.
Her very next words were that she didn’t like my outfit, you see, I was wearing the standard gray and brown training gear. She said blue was more my color. –laughs for a moment- Blue? where did that come from? I wasn’t done trying to convince myself that I hated her so… I told her I would never wear blue JUST because she suggested it. –laughs for a moment- she glared at me. This little glare smile mix… it was... and amazing glare…
She was… She… -Sighs- She just… -silence-
I fell in love, I can say that now but I would have died before admitting it then. She was amazing to me.
She put up this front, she knew how to look tough, act tough, believe me, she sold it. The whole first night she went on and on… I didn’t buy a word of it… but I never stopped her. I loved the show, and for the first time, I lost sight of my goal. For that first night, I didn’t care that I couldn’t find a group to challenge me. I had my challenge, sitting at the bar next to me… trying to convince me that she had killed an imperial Agent earlier that day.
It wasn’t until later tha- -distant voice-
I have to go. I’m sorry. I won’t stop writing… a promise is a promise. I love you, E.

::HOLO RECORDING BEGIN::
-Sighs- Where was I?
-Silence-
I wanted to know more about her… this front was so well made out that any little hint to her real life seemed like a victory… -the sound of glass clanking together as something is poured- …She told me about her real life in tiny pieces over the course of like a month… Each night in that same bar.
Her family was alive, I didn’t expect that from a girl in her condition. She left home on decent terms too. That meant she had no reason to be this way… she just wanted it.
-Silence-
She was a merc… well, she claimed. She only used this... black sword, not very smart or convincing.
The thing is… she had won our little game the first night, she knew I was into her but she never once made me think she felt a thing. She never asked one question about me or my life, each time I left for the night she never asked if I was coming back. What had I been reduced to?
And then one night… I came into the bar to find her with a holo recording sitting on the table in front of her. I played it, it was from the imperial military, evidence that she was involved in the murder of an officer was just confirmed and she was to report to the nearest station. Obviously this wasn’t the imperials normal way, I guessed they did it when they wanted to make the criminal sweat… when they just felt like being cruel to someone they didn't think was a threat, you know, someone they didn't know had ME on their side.
At first I thought nothing of it, she never seemed attached to her location, and she knew I could help get her out of there… This would just be another story for her to brag about… -Silence- I thought that, until I saw something new from her.
She looked up at me and... there were tears in her eyes... -Silence-
She… -Clears his throat- She said she didn’t want to leave me… All this time I thought she didn’t care, that she was just killing time.
I couldn’t go with her, that wasn't an option. Defectors were killed and I’m not a spy, I’m loud and so is she. She hugged me... and I held her. The first time I ever showed affection to anyone.
I told her I could get her enough time to get away, she asked me how and that was when we realized that I had never told her what I was even doing there. She started crying harder and apologized for pretending not to care.
She told me that she did kill the Imperial Agent, I didn’t care why. She started on about self-defense but I stopped her. She told me that she had a brother on the same side of the world, that he was her best chance of hiding out. Imperials don’t value each other. The agent would be forgotten and she could return later.
We left that night, she told me to write to her… to tell her everything about myself. She said we’d start over and do it the way she should have from the start.
-Silence- …We… -Sighs-

::HOLO RECORDING BEGIN::
We got to her brother’s house half way through the night, we hadn’t called ahead. No one answered the knocking so we let ourselves in. He was… -Silence- he was laying on the floor in the main room, I could sense he was dead.
She… -Silence-
::END RECORDING::
::HOLO RECORDING BEGIN::
She ran to him and cried… held him, begged… you know… everything you would expect.
I… my… -Silence- my judgment was clouded. I knew I needed to search for whoever killed him while keeping her close by to protect her… any other person I’d have torn from their loved one and made them follow me. But I cared about her, so... I moved through the house to find the man myself. –Silence-
I had just made it upstairs when I heard the scream, I can’t describe the feeling I had when I realized it was from her. I ran downstairs to find her lying beside him and no one else in the room. she was holding her stomach, she had been stabbed.
In the stomach… In the fucking sto-!!! -Silence- The place you hit when you want a slow death, when its personal.
I knew that I needed to find who had done it… I knew he had to pay… but there she was… she looked so… scared... I couldnt leave her.
-Silence-
I held her as she died. Knowing the killer was getting away, I knew that the rest of my life would be spent aching, knowing I let him escape, and it was in exchange the those last few minutes with her, and it was worth it. -Silence- ...She told me she would see her brother soon, that she wasn’t afraid. She looked at me, into my eyes, the way I had dreamt she would, she said that she… no... -Silence- No, that one doesn't leave my memory, I don't want to ruin it with my own voice. Its just for me...
-Silence-
::END RECORDING::
::HOLO RECORDNING BEGIN::
She... -Silence then glass shattering then silence-
::END RECORDING::
::HOLO RECORDING BEGIN::
-Silence-
That was the night she… -Silence- That was the night you died, E, That was the night I lost you.
I… I couldn’t let them know I was involved, I searched around, I did everything to figure out why this happened and why they cared enough to track down your brother, or why they assumed you would run there. I interrogated and killed six imperials that I thought might have known something about it, but the Imps don’t tell each other anything they don’t have to know...
-Silence-
After a while I went back to what I knew, searching for a group. I don’t know what got my master’s attention, I wouldn’t risk asking but...
-Silence-
You made my hatred strong that night, and maybe that’s what lead him to me. I’m driving myself crazy, I can’t accept that I’ll never find the man who did it. All the hatred in the galaxy can’t fix it and hatred is the only solution I was ever taught.
I’m sorry I failed to keep you safe, E, but I kept my promise, I’ve told you everything. I’m not going to message you again. I have a mission to focus on now. –Silence- I can’t focus on you anymore… -Silence- I'm sorry, E, Please... -Silence- ...Let me let you go...
I love you, Emerald.
Yours until MY end -Brief pause- Mircuri Blaac, of Jormungandr.
-Silence-
